Rice University & The Best Sandwich Ever

This has to be the best sandwich that I’ve ever had. Its the CHicken Pesto Sandwich at Salento’s in the Rice Village (on Rice Dr. or whatever its called). The taste is amazing, and it is served warm with melted cheese. I could definitely see myself eating here. I got an ice tea to accompany the food, and its great too. It has a hint of cinnamon.
The trip has been very good so far. The campus is beautiful, I mean gorgeous. The people are great, full of life, and just really really nice people.
Its going to come down to my meeting with Cohan tonight. I am really looking forward to meeting with him, and discussing his research, what he envisions, his goals, what courses he would recommend etc.. It will be a great experience.
I’ve just had an amazing time on this trip, thats about the only way I can sum it up. I had a really cool roommate too, which was unexpected. but fun.
I’ll probably head back to the hotel room in awhile and take a nap/watch a movie from iTunes. There is a strong possibility that I will come back to Salento’s for another sandwich for lunch. Its just that amazing.
Tonights plans: St. Patty’s day drinking?/dinner with Cohan, maybe hang with Steph, relax.
